Meet the Team
Every person at Harmony Place shares the same belief: every senior deserves to live out their days with dignity, comfort, and joy.

Justus Maina, BSN
Founder
Justus is the co-founder and a mental health advocate, providing compassionate care for others. His healthcare journey began as a caregiver in an Adult Family Home, where he developed an appreciation for serving others and envisioned creating a peaceful environment where residents could thrive. He later became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and supported patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic before earning his nursing degree. Since 2021, he has worked primarily in geriatric care at Skilled Nursing Facilities across Pierce and King Counties and has also gained experience in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). In addition to his healthcare career, Justus served four years in the Washington Army National Guard and currently serves as an officer in the Army Reserves. His commitment to service extends into the community, where he actively supports local organizations through volunteer work and outreach. Through his clinical expertise, leadership, and dedication to others, Justus strives to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive home for every resident.
